The Forum, which opened in Spring of 2002, is a mixed use development, with the majority of space used for specialty and upscale shopping and dinning. Example shops are J. Crew, Orvis, and Bombay. It has a very unique and stunning architectural design, resembling a small town city square, and in some respects has become just that for the Peachtree Corners Community. The high rooflines, stone walls, slate roofs, and beautiful landscape make it a warm and inviting place to spend an afternoon.
Layout
The Forum is uniquely arranged as an outdoor mall, with most shops facing each other across a dual one-way "Main Street" lined and seperated with only a few rows of parking. There are 580,000 total total square feet of space (398,000 for retail and dining, 182,000 for offices). The current space is anchored by Belk department Store, Linens-N-Things, Old Navy , and Barnes & Noble.
Coming Soon
Phase II of the development is now open with Trader Joe's, Merrell, Limetree and Jos. A. Bank. According to a Gwinnett Daily Post Article (http://www.gwinnettdailypost.com/index.php?s=&url_channel_id=35&url_article_id=16783&url_subchannel_id=&change_well_id=2), The Forum will be getting a Banana Republic in ??, and Best Buy will be building a new 30,000 s.f. store and parking deck in the existing parking lot.

Forum Development Group (http://www.forumdevgroup.com/homepage.html|) is the development company responsible for developing and managing The Forum. Their focus is producing upscale shopping directed at higher-income shoppers and communities. The Forum - Peachtree Parkway is one of many such concepts, with a similar development at The Forum - Carlsbad, CA. They are also expanding the concept to our neighboring Alpharetta, GA, as well as Newnan, GA, Augusta, GA and Sunnyvale, CA.
